Teamed up with Richwan Hartono from Sekkha and Reymond Lee from Leedesign Associates, we successfully delivered one fun weekend experience to the passionate learners through the mini classes. &#8211; &#8211; Started off on the Saturday with Richwan from Sekkha, we were taught to make a simple leather bifold wallet using a single piece of leather. Our participants that day varied from designer, student, business starter, banker, to engineer (such an interesting crowd, right?). Richwan began the class by introducing some basic knowledge and information about leather \u2013 from explaining different types of leather, to telling us which one to use for what \u2013, followed by the explanation of which tools to be used and the step-by-step process. All participants seemed very enthusiastic and keen to learn new things from Richwan, as he was also being so assisting during the workshop. It was a very interesting sight to see the participants turning only a piece of leather into a simple wallet all by themselves, from cutting, sewing, up to the finishing touches. Wendy Pratama...."}
