Edric Ong

Edric Ong is the President of Society Atelier Sarawak, the Arts and Crafts Society of Sarawak in East Malaysia. He is also the Immediate Past President of the ASEAN Handicraft Promotion and Development Association (AHPADA). He is the owner of EO Textile Sarawak, Malaysia. He has achieved so many awards and other achievements, sush as Aid to Artisans Advocate Award 2006, Seals of Excellence for Craft Products from UNESCO- AHPADA 2001-2007, Japanese G-Mark for Good Design in Lifestyle/Home Accessories, STYLO Kuala Lumpur Fashion Festival Heritage Award 2008, Australia Culture Award, Vice- President, World Crafts Council Asia Pacific 2008.

Merdi Sihombing

Merdi Sihombing has established himself as a textile artist. He works with strong grabs of knowledge of the Indonesian thread and cloth materials, natural dyes, culture, tradition and mythology to create sustainable and environmental friendly fashion. His works are communicating the contemporary with the centuries-old wisdom and tradition. He has many achievements, such as Appointed Designer for World Harp Ensamble 2002 Jakarta, Coffee Morning ASEAN in Kuala Lumpur 2003, Pencak Silat Exhibition di Prancis tahun 2003, Best Designer for Gelar Tenun Tradisional Indonesia 2006, Kreasi Tenun Interior, Household, Gift.
