Arduino is an open-source prototyping platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. Arduino boards are able to read inputs – light on a sensor, a finger on a button, or a Twitter message – and turn it into an output – activating a motor, turning on an LED, publishing something online. You can tell your board what to do by sending a set of instructions to the microcontroller on the board. To do so you use the Arduino programming language (based on Wiring), and the Arduino Software (IDE), based on Processing.

Kammeretas will introduce you to Arduino basic function and create simple projects for example from countless possibilities. You will understand the anatomy and the basic function of Arduino also the possibilities of development trough tinkering and experimentation.

This class is intended for anyone who want to make interactive projects with limitless possibilities.

1. Coffee Meter: a simple device that can help you to tell when the temperature of your coffee is exactly at 60 °C

2. Stay Awake Hat: when you use this hat while driving, and suddenly feel sleepy, this hat will be warning you

3. RGB Light Mixer: an Arduino device with RGB light as output. You can mix any colour with this device with RGB light as 3 basic colours.
