Empowering Young Women to Dare to Dream and Shine
brand activation
The world benefits greatly from young students, dreamers, and innovators. However, young people, especially women, often face obstacles when it comes to taking advantage of opportunities to contribute to society. Sunsilk's mission is to help young Indonesian women ensure that the challenges they face do not interfere with their dreams and give them more opportunities. Sunsilk's goal is to empower young women, empower them with the vision, support, skills, and confidence they need to explore their potential and provide them with even greater potential. When young women are free to explore, the women and society will be immensely benefited. Sunsilk held a yearly event to align the initiative to empower women around Indonesia called Sunsilk Kilau Fest.
Opening up opportunities for young girls everywhere
Kilau Fest 2016 was Sunsilk's yearly event held in Bandung, Jogjakarta, Surabaya, Medan, and Jakarta to inspire young women in achieving their dreams. In this event, lingkaranx teamed up with Sunsilk to take responsibility for the workshops, called Kilau Workshop. There were 4 topics covered in this event, starting from Fashion Entrepreneurship with Diana Rikasari, Photography with Diera Bachir, Writing with Sitta Karina, and Content Creating with Puteri Modiyanti and Vendryana of Indovidgram. For each topic, there were mini-challenges that could grant the participants the opportunity to continue their learning experience through Kilau Kreasi.
Kilau Kreasi was the advanced challenge for the winners of the Kilau Workshop. The winners from each city would then compete through the online challenge that was specified based on the topic they joined in the Kilau Workshop in order to get the grand prize. As the grand prize of Kilau Fest, Kilauborasi became the main attraction in this event because the winner of Kilau Kreasi will get a day with the mentor and they could collaborate to create their work based on their passion with the help of the mentor.
Empowering more women with more relevant skills
In 2017, Kelas Kilau was an online learning series for Sunsilk women to develop themselves based on their skills and interest during their journey to pursue their dreams.
